Hey, I'm Orren

Founder & Chief Storyteller 

I've advised 300+ organizations including Autodesk, Google, Meta, NASA, Uber, and Zillow on some of their most ambitious initiatives. Since 2016, I've worked with 15 product teams at Meta, including Groups, Newsfeed, Monetization, Messenger Kids, Social Impact, and Global Business Group. I've also served as faculty for Google UX’s Leadership Development Program and worked closely with the growth and data science orgs at Shopify.

The son of a mad-scientist and teacher, I'm obsessed with how to translate new ideas into cultural acceptance. I'm an original thinker, philosopher, and empirical scientist, having tested my work across 300+ organizations. Trained as a cultural anthropologist, I'm an expert on language systems, rhetoric, and culture codes. I began my career as a social entrepreneur, funded by Rockefeller and Ford Foundations by the age of 22, and a startup failure by the age of 24. I was raised in Switzerland and Los Angeles. Back in LA since 2018, after 25 years away; frequently in Silicon Valley and NYC. I’m left-handed, color-blind, and eat more chocolate than the average human.
